PROBLEM

English teachers can’t find reading materials easily

English teachers often face challenges finding diverse and engaging reading materials efficiently.
During my coursework in English Education, I frequently encountered this issue while preparing teaching materials. I spent a significant amount of time searching across various websites to locate suitable books for my lessons. The lack of a centralized platform not only increased my workload but also limited my ability to focus on designing high-quality, interactive learning experiences for students.

  • Time-consuming Searches: English teachers face the challenge of spending significant time conducting individual searches across various platforms to find suitable reading materials for their students.

  • Lack of Centralized Platform: The absence of a consolidated website makes it difficult for educators to quickly and efficiently discover a diverse range of books based on different needs and grade levels.

  • Complexity in Tailoring Materials: Designing a curriculum becomes more complex as teachers struggle to tailor reading materials to suit the diverse interests and learning levels of students without a centralized resource.

  • Limited Sharing and Collaboration: The current landscape lacks a platform for educators to easily share insights, recommendations, and favorite titles, hindering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the teaching community.

  • Inefficient Book Discovery: The fragmented approach to book discovery hampers the ability of teachers to swiftly and effectively identify literature that aligns with the specific educational requirements of their students.

  • Missing Community Support: Educators lack a supportive online community where they can collaborate, learn from each other, and collectively contribute to enhancing the literary journeys of their students.
